Live Meditation Training
Being a Meditation Teacher, I am promoting and supporting all meditation forms, and happy to hear people shift their focus towards mind training practices as mindfulness and meditation, however, there is a huge difference between apps and proper training.
First of all the purpose of meditation is to increase your focus, make you self-sufficient and give your more autonomy away from your phone.
The apps are keeping you more enslaved to the device that should be a tool and became the master.
With meditation training, you get to be self-sufficient and independent in reconnecting with your higher self, depressing and unplugging.
What the guided visualization (from the apps) do, is called mindfulness, and help with short term destress, the difference being in the results. Having a proper meditation training giving long-lasting, life-changing results, influencing your life and the life of others as you proceed with a daily practice.
It is just as in the saying ’ give a man a fish and you will feed him for the day, teach him how to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime’
